    24 HOUR PASS
    by Ann Harrington - NGMA607@aol.com
    >>John Crichton returns to Earth.

Well written, well realized and a true page-turner. The characterizations are excellent and the original voices are never hollow.

    DAMNED SPOT
    by Debby- entlzha@juno.com
    >>Ice, death, and tormented souls

Beautiful imagery and lovely, lovely angst. Mmm.

    FICTION IN THE SPACE BETWEEN
    by Scapekid- Scapekid@email.com
    >>Memory, its loss, and coming to terms with the future.

The first time I read this, I nearly didn't make it through the dense, sometimes purple, prose, but it's very much worth the effort. The writing is evocative and moving and stays with you a long while.

    FLAMBEAUX
    by Shaye- snortgirl@earthlink.net
    >>On a desert planet, lovers are consumed by madness and fire.

Wowie, I love my angst, and this is my favorite kind. Selfless, caring and tragic :) Great writing, you can't stop reading it once you start!

    [NEW!]FORCED PERSPECTIVE
    by Huzzelwhat- hwheaton@pond.com
    >>Aeryn decides that Harvey has to go, and finds that the illusion of distance is the same as distance, and that distance has consequences.

Terrific style, tight writing and an intriguing premise make for one angsty ride. The concept of relationships and the different ways we view them is fantastic.

    IN ONE OF THESE DREAMS
    by Silver- stillsilver@aol.com
    >>John, back on Earth, finds himself in a mental institution. A Nurse tells his story.

Love the outside POV. Love the original voice! And this is well-written to boot. In short, it has everything I love in fanfic. A premise we will never see on the show with a depth to the characterization we will never see plumbed.

    JIGSAW MAN
    by Maayan- Maayan42@yahoo.com
    >>In the midst of yet another crisis, Aeryn's reflects on the cost of John's journey. Angst.

Well written and excellently structured. Perhaps the very best characterization I've read to-date in this fandom. Lyrical, honest prose that stays grounded and interesting. Really lovely and heartwrenching!

    THE LIVING YEARS
by Kelly Hill and Sarah Wait- ceallaig@rcn.com
    >>Four generations of fathers and sons.

A lovely, well-written journey of characters. A little overly-sentimental, but I love me the sentimenatal! The voices are dead-on and the charm is irresistable.

    NO DOMINION
    by Maayan- Maayan42@yahoo.com
    >>Three weekens after SoD. Moya's crew race against time to save Zhaan, and get thrown in the middle of a civil war in the process - with earth- shattering consequences for John.

This one is too great for adequate descriptives. A page turner from start to finish and all decked out in Maayan's perfect, perfect prose. Long and wonderful, wait for a nice comfy night to curl up with this angster.

    RETURN TO SENDER
    by Ann Harrington- NGMA607@aol.com
    >>Scorpius makes John an offer he can't refuse.

While it takes a little while to really get going, this is written well enough that you just keep at it regardless. Delicious angst, and who doesn't love that?

THAT MY DAYS HAVE BEEN A DREAM
    by Nerys- ki-nerys@SWBell.net
    >>Crichton's hope for returning home diminishes as he learns more about worm holes and when he is given the chance to cross the divide between one reality and the next, he must choose between home and the possibility of his life having been a dream.

I think this was the first Scapefic I read, and it really sucked me in. Great premise, good writing even through the rough spots. Really great.
