S, X, MSR This story actually came out of procrastination and writers block on that damned Blood Proof. I've been itching to write and that other thing just wasn't cooperating. So, voila. A quick note on the locale this story is set in. I grew up in Aspen. My parents still live there so I go back quite often. Every place in this story is real except for The Lucky Lizzy herself. The people, on the other hand, are not ...for the most part. John Kienast was indeed sheriff the last time I lived there, and he may still be. The Creeds and the Hansons are not real, but Hunter S. Thompson was actually accused of murdering all Floyd Watkin's prized trout. Sometimes truth really is stranger than fiction.
